Vivaldi Budva Restaurant

Neither the rain, nor the storm, nor the hurricane, nor even the trip of part of the editorial board to the snowy Moscow is not able to block our critics' way in gastronomic research in the open spaces of Montenegro. This time, the unquenchable spirit of research led us not to go somewhere, but to the cafe-restaurant Vivaldi, dearly loved by one of the critics.

Vivaldi was in our field of vision only this year, but the establishment quickly became popular with both the local population and some of our compatriots. The restaurant is located in Budva, at the intersection of the Oblaznica and Kovacevic. It has its own parking for 10 cars, plus several public ones.

The restaurant has a cozy terrace for 40 seats - a favorite place in the summer for the morning coffee of the residents of the nearest houses. Unfortunately, due to its location, in the autumn the sun does not fall on it practically, so regulars usually move inside. Inside there are two halls for 30 seats each, one under the other. The upper is more like a lounge cafe, lower restaurant and banquet.

The interiors are very comfortable both above and below. Separately, I would like to note the furniture in the upper hall - very comfortable chairs that have a long unhurried rest.

The staff is friendly, in Russian understands, the service speed is average.

The menu is available in three languages: local, English and Russian. The Russian version was not without ridiculous translation errors, such as lamb rental for example, but everything is quite clear. The very choice of dishes is quite traditional for the coast of Montenegro and is a mix of local and Mediterranean cuisines.

As part of our research, the critic ordered veal choruba, pork fillet in mustard sauce with vegetables, 7-year-old Havana club rum and Deutsch coffee. It would be appropriate to joke that the rum was especially successful, but the pork was wonderful. The only thing is that the sauce is slightly more evil than I would like. Meat is cooked perfectly, serving is close to perfect. Chorba is classic, without any complaints. Portions of the average size for Montenegro.

Lunch cost 22 euros. The price is not the lowest in Budva, however it is compensated by the quality of dishes and the comfort of pastime.

We presented the following evaluations to Vivaldi's restaurant:

Quality of food - 4,8

Price - 4
Quality of service - 4,6

Convenience and comfort - 4,9

A good place to eat deliciously and comfortably and communicate.

With respect to you and your taste, Sergei Sychev
